Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Prime Minister Sushila Karki has directed all security bodies to remain alert to hold the upcoming House of Representatives election in a safe and flawless manner.
During a coordination meeting of the Chief of Army Staff held at the Army Headquarters on the occasion of Maha TAG_OPEN_p_9 Shivaratri and the Army Day today, Prime Minister Karki urged the security mechanisms to improve by evaluating the past experiences.
“Work flawlessly by coordinating with all agencies on the basis of security sensitivities keeping in mind the various dimensions of the upcoming elections to conduct this election safely,” he said.TAG_OPEN_p_8 ”
On the occasion, Prime TAG_OPEN_p_7 Minister Karki expressed full confidence in discharging the responsibility of the Nepal Army in the best possible way and directed the government to ensure that the citizens would be able to cast their votes in a safe environment.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel, Chiefs of Army Departments, Chiefs of Directorates, Directorates, and Chiefs of Army Generals.TAG_OPEN_p_6 The participants presented their field responsibilities, accomplished tasks and suggestions.
According to the Directorate TAG_OPEN_p_5 of Military Information and Public Relations, the meeting discussed contemporary security issues and prepared a strategy to make the upcoming elections safe and hassle-free.
