More than 15 million ballot papers printed in House of Representatives election

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Election Commission (EC) has completed the printing of ballot papers in 117 constituencies of 53 districts for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 4.

More than TAG_OPEN_p_5 15 million ballot papers have been printed so far, Assistant Spokesperson Kul Bahadur GC said. So far, 13,321 ballot boxes have been packed and around 13-15 lakh ballots are being printed every day.

The printing of ballot papers TAG_OPEN_p_4 began on January 6. In the first phase, 1 million 98 thousand sample ballot papers were printed and sent to various districts. Ballot papers under the proportional representation system have been completed on January 26 and 208.30 million ballot papers have been completed and packed and transported ready.

A total of 2 TAG_OPEN_p_3 03,23,000 ballot papers will be printed for the first-past-the-post election system.
