Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Printing of ballot papers required for the election to the member of the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4 has been completed.
Managing Director of Janak Education Materials Centre Limited, Yadunath Poudel, said that the responsibility of printing the ballot papers provided by the Election Commission was completed on Monday evening. He said that all the ballot papers would be transported to their respective provinces after packaging from today.
Managing Director Poudel said, “We have completed the printing of two crore three lakh ballot papers under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) category from Monday evening. We started printing printing in 42 days but were able to complete it in 40 days. The ballot papers will be delivered to all the districts within 10 days. ”
The centre had been printing 13-15 lakh ballot papers on a daily basis. According to the center, the EC has already printed one million sample ballot papers and dispatched them to various places while 20.8 million proportional representation ballot papers are being sent to the districts.
According to him, all the ballot papers have already been supplied to Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and works were underway to supply the ballot papers to the remaining areas within 10 days.
