Festivals like Gyalpo Lhosar enhance the feelings of unity, harmony and fraternity: President Bhandari

Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the feeling of unity, socio-cultural solidarity, tolerance, goodwill and fraternity among the Nepalis would be enhanced.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of Gyalpo Lhosar today, President Poudel said that the festivals such as Gyalpo Lhosar would enhance the feelings of unity, social cultural solidarity, tolerance, goodwill and fraternity among all Nepalis.

“As Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, multi-cultural and geographically diverse country, the festivals like Gyalpo Lhosar enhance the feeling of unity, social and cultural solidarity, tolerance, goodwill and fraternity among all Nepalis,” reads the message. This will help further strengthen the broader national unity. ’

He also extended best wishes to all the Nepali brothers and sisters at home and abroad for their happiness, peace and prosperity on the occasion of Gyalpo Lhosar, the festival of the Sherpa community.
