He said that the election would be held on the stipulated date and time.
“Even now, some candidates have been calling him expressing doubts about the election,” he said, suggesting the candidates not to be misled about the election publicity. He said that some frustrated people might try to spread unnecessary rumors to achieve a specific purpose. He said that the Nepali people can no longer bear witness to such sponsored rumours. Reiterating that election was the alternative to the election, he said there would be no situation of disturbing the election environment now.
“The political parties, candidates and their cadres are actively involved in election campaigning and they have no other option other than the election,” he said. He claimed that all the new and old forces have accepted the election as the route. He said that the attempt to fish in murky waters would be successful by misleading the people living with the pious purpose and aspiration of delivering good governance in Nepal. He made it clear that the government would not do anything capable of disrupting the elections or creating instability and the Election Commission was closely monitoring.
“Some frustrated people may make unnecessary rumors for the purpose of fulfilling their definite objectives, the Nepali people can no longer bear witness to the sponsorship of their definite purpose,” he said.
