Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) former vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi has said that the new leadership of the party has taken a good direction. Leader Nidhi, who is contesting for the House of Representatives election from Dhanusha constituency-3, said that the NC has seen new enthusiasm and energy.
“The current situation is good, you must have come to know from the general meeting of Falgun 6 in Janakpur that such a huge mass meeting took place. That public meeting has given a very good message. “The new leadership of the Nepali Congress has taken a good direction,” Nidhi said, adding, “We have changed, we will change the country and we will take care of the country.” I have taken it positively. It’s had a good effect. ’
He also claimed that there is unity in the Nepali Congress across the country. “One thing I can see is that there is internal unity in the NC now. The way the candidates of the Congress have been selected and the way the people have understood the political situation of the country. On the basis of all this, I can say that the Congress will get a majority. And I am confident that the Nepali Congress will form the government with a majority. ’
He said that he was also trying to accommodate his own internal differences. “I am also trying to resolve the internal differences with interest, in which I have succeeded,” Nidhi added.
Nidhi said that democracy has been fractured and the political system has been fractured in the absence of an elected government in the country. “There is no elected government in the country now. There is no elected parliament. Democracy has been shattered. The political system has collapsed. The constitution has become a grid. Now there is a feeling that only the Nepali Congress can give the right remedy to it. This is a positive premise. Because of this, the people believe that the Nepali Congress should be elected. ’
Leader Nidhi also said that the NC-led government to be formed after the election to the House of Representatives would work to end corruption and good governance.
“Now we have to develop a modern system. The digital governance system i.e. e-governance system should be taken forward. This system addresses the issues of reducing corruption, transparency and good governance. This system should be taken to all three levels, local, provincial and federal levels,” Nidhi said.
He said that this system should be implemented not only in the government sector but also in the non-government sector. “The system takes five days to do the job. What happens in five hours can be done in five hours. This is not the current technical complexity of filling out a form for a license. To get citizenship, it has to be done in one hour. That’s what the license has to be. In such a way, work can be done through the e-governance system. I am of the opinion that the Congress should move ahead in this regard. ’
He said that the Nepali Congress has worked for the rights of the people and for the development of the people so far.
“Every person needs two things, one is the rights and the other is development,” he said, adding, “The NC has carried out the same in both the areas from the time of BP Koirala till now.” Therefore, one should have faith that those who have worked can do the same work in the next day. ’
Nidhi urged the people to vote for the Nepali Congress candidate, saying that a new driver can cause an accident at any time.
“Those who have not done the work, who have no work experience, have no place to trust that they will do new work. A new driver can cause an accident at any time. It can get you out of the way. Therefore, I would like to appeal to the voters of my constituency and across the country to vote for the Nepali Congress tree seal,” he said.
He said that it would help make the Nepal of tomorrow beautiful and peaceful if the Nepali Congress is elected by voting for the tree symbol.
“NC’s victory is necessary to make Nepal beautiful, peaceful, not revengeful, control crime, implement federal democratic system with good governance, prosperity and inclusion,” he said. If the Nepali Congress forms the government by relying on other parties, it will not be able to deliver. Therefore, I request you to vote for the Nepali Congress with a single majority,” Nidhi added.
Nidhi has made his election agenda by incorporating local issues from the main agenda of national politics when he is contesting from Dhanusha-3.
He said that bringing the constitution on track in the agenda of national politics and successfully implementing the damaged federal democratic republican system were the main issues. “An elected government is necessary for that,” he said.
Nidhi also made it clear that he could handle the country if the government is formed under the leadership of Nepali Congress with a majority. He also said that he has plans for his constituency.
“I have said that I will build three maternity hospitals in rural areas. I will build three children’s hospitals to treat children in rural areas. I will create an environment to create employment for the youth by inviting investors for the employment of the youth and investing in the industry and business in a safe manner. This is the next priority for my region. ’
He said that there is no fertilizer factory in Nepal so far and the agriculture sector has been suffering due to this.
“Not a single fertilizer factory has been opened in Nepal so far. Our land is the land of agriculture. The biggest problem here is the shortage of fertilizer. I have also been advising investors in my district to open a fertilizer factory,” Nidhi said.
Stating that Janakpur is an important place for the development of religious tourism, he said that work should be done to construct Ram Janaki Stadium as soon as possible and also to run a sports academy here.
Nidhi said that he is contesting the House of Representatives election from Dhanusha-3 and he has a lot of grounds to win.
“I have been in politics since I was a kid and I have been jailed. The people here have taken note of my commitment and activism regarding political life, people’s rights, constitution writing, federalism and republicanism. The people have loved me and blessed me with love. This is my strong base to be elected now,” he said.
He also said that he had worked for the development of physical infrastructures, education and health sectors during his tenure as the government in different periods.
“I had made Janakpur the capital of Madhes Province during my leadership. I have contributed to it. I have established Rajarshi Janak University in Janakpur. I have also made a decisive contribution to this. “The people here know that I had constructed the Dhalkebar-Janakpur 6-lane road when I was the Minister for Physical Infrastructure,” Nidhi said, adding, “I have constructed roads and bridges connecting villages in the district.” Be it rail service, air service or connectivity of Ayodhya-Janakpur. My work on issues that are relevant to people’s public life and future progress has been discussed and compared by all. ’
