Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Rabi Lamichhane has offered prayers at the Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham.
Lamichhane, who arrived in Janakpurdham on Wednesday afternoon, offered prayers along with the candidates of different parts of Dhanusha.
Addressing the gathering at Janaki Chowk after performing the puja, he said that although the RSP talked about good governance in the previous elections, it failed to talk about discrimination.
He said that this time he was committed to establishing good governance along with ending discrimination. Lamichhane said that it was the responsibility of the people to send their candidates to victory and to work honestly.
Lamichhane said that the RSP was aware of the illegal sale of Bighaubigha of land in Janakpurdham. He added that the RSP government would control those involved in buying and selling the temple land and bring them under the ambit of law. Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to address various districts of Madhes Province including Mahottari today.
