Kathmandu. The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has said that some international flights will be affected due to the ban on air routes to the region in the Middle East.
Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi international airports were closed due to the US and Israeli military attacks on Iran, the airport in Kathmandu said on Saturday evening, saying that some flights would be cancelled or delayed due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East region. The airport said that international flights could be delayed, rescheduled or even canceled.
The airport has also urged passengers to come to the airport only after getting information about the latest status of their flight with the concerned airline company. The airport has requested the airlines concerned to contact directly and confirm the status of the flights.
