Kathmandu. Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal has said all the security preparations required for holding the House of Representatives election have been completed.
According to Aryal, the security mechanism has been mobilized on the basis of the integrated security plan prepared for the election to the House of Representatives.
According to him, all the security agencies have been mobilized at the polling stations and arrangements have been made to keep the security situation under control and facilitate whenever necessary. He said that full security has been fully guaranteed across the country.
“Our mechanisms have been mobilized on the basis of the Integrated Security Plan by approving the security plan for the election to the House of Representatives,” he said. All security mechanisms have reached the polling stations. The situation of security has been fully guaranteed throughout the country to control and facilitate the security situation whenever it is needed. ’
He also made it clear that all election materials required for the election have already reached the concerned places. Stating that the talk that the Nepal Army would take the ballot boxes after the voting was not true, he said the ballot boxes would be brought to the office of the returning officer after the voting is completed as per the integrated security plan.
However, he said that the Nepal Army vehicles can carry out security skirts if they feel unsafe while transporting the ballot boxes.
“All the election materials have reached everywhere,” he said. This is not the kind of narrative that has been created that the Nepal Army will take the ballot boxes after voting. It is clearly mentioned in the integrated security plan that the ballot boxes will be brought to the office of the returning officer after the voting is over. Even then, it is the polling officer, not the army. But if there is insecurity while bringing the ballot boxes, then the Nepal Army vehicle can also skirt it. ’
The election to the House of Representatives is taking place on March 4. KATHMANDU: The government has said that it has completed all preparations to hold the elections in a free, fair and peaceful manner.
