Kathmandu. Senior leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party (Rastriya Swatantra) Balendra Sah is not scheduled to reach Jhapa today.
The helicopter carrying him to Jhapa in the morning was diverted midway after security challenges were reported.
According to Balen’s secretariat, he will be in Kathmandu today. Balen’s close aide Kumar Ben said he was scheduled to leave for Jhapa tomorrow morning. According to Ben, it has not been decided what to go through.
Balen has filed his candidacy from Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) in Jhapa-5. He is a rival of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
