Voting halted in Sandhikharka-4 of Arghakhanchi after ballot papers were found without signatures

Kathmandu. Sandhikharka Municipality Ward No. Voting has been temporarily halted after a dispute erupted during the voting in Province 4. The controversy erupted after some of the ballot papers used for the polls were found to have no signature of the returning officer.

Party representatives and stakeholders at the polling station had objected to the ballot paper being found distributed without the mandatory signature of the returning officer. The voting process has been halted until the situation becomes clear.

The concerned body is investigating the incident and the voting process would be resumed only after the problem is resolved.
