RSP leading in all 5 constituencies in Jhapa

Kathmandu. JHAPA: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken the lead in all the five constituencies in Jhapa district. The candidates of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) are leading in all the 5 constituencies of Jhapa.

In Jhapa-5, Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) candidate Balendra Shah has defeated CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Shah has garnered 6,551 votes while Oli has garnered only 1,428 votes. NC’s Mandhara Chimariya is in the third position with 186 votes.

Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Prakash Pathak is leading in Jhapa-3, which is considered to be the constituency of RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden. Pathak garnered 4,075 votes while Lingden came second with 2,779 votes. Hari Bahadur Rajbanshi of CPN-UML is in the third position with 1,037 votes.

Nisha Dangi of Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) is leading in Jhapa-1 with 3,170 votes. He is trailing NC’s Keshav Raj Pandey with 1,028 votes. Likewise, Indira Rana Magar of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) is leading in Jhapa-2 with 3,395 votes. CPN-UML’s Devraj Ghimire is in the second position with 1,310 votes while NC’s Sarita Prasai is in the second position with 191 votes.

Similarly, Shambhu Prasad Dhakal of Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) is leading in Jhapa-4 with 5,254 votes. CPN-UML’s Lal Prasad Sawa Limbu came second with 1,248 votes and NC’s Deu Kumar Thebe came third with 470 votes. Vote counting is underway in all the constituencies of the district.
