Kathmandu. In Sunsari Constituency-1, Labour and Culture Party’s candidate Harka Raj Rai Sampang has defeated Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Goma Tamang (Sarin) by 1082 votes. According to the Office of the Election Officer, 15,378 votes were counted in Dharan from 1 to 6 out of which 5891 votes were cast.
Sarin Tamang is trailing Sampang with 4809 votes. Similarly, Surya Bahadur Bhattarai (Manoj) of CPN (UML) got 1291 votes, Tikaram Limbu of CPN-UML got 964 votes, Sujendra Tamang of NC got 895 votes and Uddhav Shrestha of RPP got 375 votes.
