Kathmandu. Police have arrested Gaurav Pun Magar, 26, of Madhuban municipality-7 in possession of three grams and 770 milligrams of brown sugar from Ganeshpur of Gulariya municipality-11 in Bardiya district on Monday night.
A police team deputed from the police post in Mahamadpur arrested him with the substance.
Police have arrested 32-year-old Laxman Rajbanshi of Kamal Rural Municipality-6 in Jhapa district with 3.44 grammes of brown heroin from Kamal Rural Municipality-6 in Jhapa district. A police team from the Area Police Office, Damak arrested him with the substance he was riding on a motorbike (Me 11 Pa 6050).
SUNSARI: Police have arrested two persons in possession of 35 grams and 210 milligrams of brown sugar from Inaruwa municipality-4 in Sunsari district on Monday evening.
The arrestees have been identified as Siddhartha Chaudhary, 29, of the same sub-metropolis-18 and James Rai, 29, of the same sub-metropolis-17.
A police team deputed from the District Police Office, Sunsari and temporary police post bus park arrested the motorbike rider James and motorcyclist Siddhartha after they found the motorcycle (Ko 31 Pa 3255) en route to Pakali from Laukahi.
Police have arrested an 18-year-old boy of Dandapatu in ward no. 7 of the same municipality in possession of 530 milligrammes of brown sugar from Tulsipur Sub-metropolis-5 in Dang district on Monday.
A police team deputed from Area Police Office, Tulsipur arrested him with the substance. Police also confiscated a motorcycle (Ba 76 Pa 1717) used by him. Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
