Kathmandu. In the first meeting of the central working committee of NADA Automobile Association of Nepal (NADA), Karan Chaudhary handed over his office to newly elected President Surendra Kumar Upreti.

On the occasion, outgoing president Chaudhary extended best wishes to newly-elected president Upreti for his successful tenure and expressed the belief that his leadership would be important for the institutional development of NADA and advancement of automobile sector.

On the occasion, newly elected President Surendra Kumar Upreti took the oath of office and secrecy and pledged to make NADA stronger, active and effective as per its objective, statute and values during his tenure.

He expressed the view that the government would move ahead by protecting the interests of all the member entrepreneurs, developing the automobile sector and collaborating with the concerned stakeholders.

In the meeting, newly elected NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti nominated Mahesh Pal, Deepak Kumar Agrawal and Rajesh Giri as the members of the central working committee of NADA as per the NADA Statute 20.1 (e). He welcomed the nominated members and expressed hope that they would play an active role in the future activities of the organization.

The central working committee of NADA has also decided to complete the election process for the selection of office-bearers in the near future. In the coming days, NADA believes that it will move forward by strengthening the overall development of the automobile sector, protecting the rights of entrepreneurs and strengthening policy cooperation.
