Pregnant woman rescued from Jumla in a helicopter dies during treatment

Kathmandu. A new mother, who was airlifted after giving birth in Jumla, died while undergoing treatment.

Tila Rural Municipality Ward No. Asmita Nepali, an 18-year-old pregnant woman of Ward No. 3 was rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter.

She was referred to Karnali Provincial Hospital, Surkhet from Jumla for further treatment after she complained of serious complications after giving birth to a baby at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences. He died while undergoing treatment at the state hospital, according to the State Hospital.

She was rushed to the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences after her condition worsened while trying to deliver a baby at home.
