Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has demanded the government to make public the report submitted by the Judicial Inquiry Commission on the incident of Jenji demonstration on September 7 and 24.
The meeting held at the party’s central office, Sanepa, from Friday to Sunday demanded that the report submitted by the Judicial Inquiry Commission on the incident of Genji demonstration on September 7 and 24 be made public immediately.
The meeting unanimously rejected the resignation of party president Gagan Thapa urging him to return to his previous responsibilities as the responsibility assigned to him by the special general convention has not been fulfilled and the responsibility assigned to him by the special general convention has not been fulfilled.
The meeting also decided to ask the government of Nepal to release Nepali national Amrit Jha who was captured by the Iranian army at the Bandar Abbas port in Hormuz and bring him back to Nepal.

The government’s attention has been drawn to the security of Nepalis in war-torn areas. The meeting also demanded the safe repatriation of Nepali national Amrit Jha who was detained at Bandar Abbas port in Hormuz area.
The meeting concluded that all these reasons are structural, systemic and situational rather than individual. The new leadership formed after the special general convention has found it difficult to resolve all challenges in a limited period of around 50 days.
Likewise, the meeting also directed the district and electoral constituencies to send additional reports on the election results and decided to review the results by integrating the preliminary review and the reports received from the district levels. The meeting also decided to fully focus on the party’s 15th General Convention.
