Kathmandu. DP Aryal has been elected the Speaker of the House of Representatives. He was elected to the post of Speaker with the support of a majority in the House of Representatives on Sunday.
Aryal became the Speaker of the House of Representatives after defeating other candidates in the election process. After being elected the Speaker, he has pledged to play an impartial role as per the constitution, rules and parliamentary norms.
Newly elected Speaker Aryal said he would focus on making the parliament effective, dignified and people-oriented.
