NC central work execution committee meeting to be held on Monday

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Work Execution Committee of the Nepali Congress is taking place tomorrow.

Party president Gagan Thapa is scheduled to propose the parliamentary party leader for consensus in the meeting to be held at 11:00 am tomorrow, said Joint General Secretary and election committee coordinator Prakash Rasaili ‘Snehi’.

Thapa will hold discussions with the lawmakers at the party office at 1:00 pm after the work execution meeting.

According to him, as proposed by the party president, the election of the parliamentary party leader will be formally forwarded as per Article 5 of the parliamentary party statute.

The election process was postponed on Friday saying that the leader of the party would be elected on consensus.
