Nobel Academy accused of ‘looting’: Admission promises hollow, parents angry

Kathmandu. Grade 11 students and parents of Nobel Academy in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, have complained about the mismanagement of the college administration and exorbitant fees.

The parents have alleged that the assurances given at the time of admission were not fulfilled, the facilities were low even though the fees were collected in the name of laboratory and extracurricular activities, and they were forced to buy expensive books only from the designated shops.TAG_OPEN_p_5

Complaints have also been raised that students have been affected by fines for delay or absence, compulsion in canteens, and frequent changes of teachers.TAG_OPEN_p_4

Parents have demanded the concerned body to immediately investigate and protect the educational rights.
