Inability to properly utilize resources and potential: Minister Timilsina

Kathmandu. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Bikram Timilsina said that the main reason behind Nepal’s lagged behind was not the lack of resources and possibilities, but its inability to properly utilize its heritages and potential.

Speaking at the welcome and congratulatory program for the film team of ‘Elephant of Fog’ on Monday, he said that Nepal’s unique culture, diversity, unique identity, nature and culture have made our country known.

“It is not that Nepal is lagging behind. Nepal has lagged behind because we have not been able to make good use of what has happened and we have not been able to create value from it. Within our culture, there are diversity, unique identities, nature and cultures. Our country has been recognized. ’

On the occasion, Minister Timilsina said the achievements made in the international arena for the Nepali art and film sector were the pride of the country.

He said that it was a matter of happiness for all Nepalis to receive the honor for Nepali movie ‘Elevance of Fog’. He congratulated the team for winning more awards in the Best Sawan Creation.

“The 19 Castle Film Festival has a history of 80 years and I would like to congratulate all Nepal for winning Elephant of Fog as one of the least prestigious film festivals in the world. I would like to congratulate them for winning yet another award for Best Sawan Creation,” he said.
