Prosperous Nepal possible only through consolidation of constitution and republic: Gagan Thapa

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has said that Nepal could be transformed into a civilized, prosperous, happy and prosperous nation only through institutional strengthening of the federal democratic republican governance system.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the Republic Day, Prime Minister Oli has said that all should play a responsible role to protect and strengthen the constitution and republic.

“Nepal could be transformed into a civilized, prosperous, happy and prosperous nation only through institutional strengthening of the federal democratic republican governance system,” he said. It is the need of the hour for all to play a responsible role from their respective places to protect and strengthen this historic achievement achieved through the sacrifice, sacrifice and dedication of the Nepali people. ’

Stating that the historic people’s movement 2062/63 was successful as a result of the sacrifice, struggle and sacrifice of the Nepali people, Thapa recalled that the Constituent Assembly election was held under the leadership of the then Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala.

He said, ” The first meeting of the Constituent Assembly on May 29, 2008 declared Nepal a federal democratic republic and ended the monarchy. In memory of this historic achievement, we have been celebrating Jeth 15 as the Republic Day with pride every year. ’

He stressed the need of building a just and equitable society based on democratic norms, values and culture while taking the country towards economic prosperity. He also expressed the belief that the Republic Day would give new enthusiasm and inspiration to all Nepalis.
