People’s vote for RSP is not to play with other parties: General Secretary Burlakoti

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSS) general secretary and party’s parliamentary party chief whip Kabindra Burlakoti has pledged that the government would continue to work for development, prosperity and good governance.

Inaugurating the first district convention of RSP Gorkha here today, he said the party would move ahead collaborating with all political parties on the issue of development works.

“The people’s vote to the RSP is not to play with other parties,” he said, adding, “Good results can be achieved only if all work together.” ’

He said initiatives were underway to restart Gorakhkali Rubber Industry and he had held discussions with the Ministry of Finance from time to time for the same.

General Secretary Burlakoti said, “There is a strong possibility that the private sector can invest in the Gorakhkali rubber industry. ’

General Secretary Burlakoti said that some budget has been allocated for the construction of Budhigandaki Hydropower Project for the coming fiscal year and a concrete decision would be taken forward by forming a high-powered authority.

He said that the government was making efforts to improve all sectors only if the politics is right.

General Secretary Burlakoti said that the government was clear that the country should establish industries within the country as remittances were not the only way to achieve economic prosperity.

According to him, the budget for the coming fiscal year is focused on development, construction and achieving economic prosperity.
