Repair of street lights on Jadibuti-Suryabinayak road (Photos)

Kathmandu. Repair and operation of street lights along the Jadibuti-Suryabinayak section of the Araniko Highway has begun. Drivers and the general public have been worried about the increased risk of road accidents due to lack of street lights.

There are a total of 450 lights on this road section with a capacity of 120 watts. These smart street lights were installed in 2022 during the tenure of the then Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising.

Currently, the concerned company is carrying out repair and management of the damaged lights.
