Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) leader Bhim Rawal has said that a sensitive geopolitical situation like Nepal should take a stand for the security of its national interests and borders.

Speaking at a book release programme organized on the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of founding leader of the communist movement Pushpalal Shrestha on Monday, Chairman Dahal said the dispute over Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, Kalapani and Susta areas on Nepal’s southern border has not been resolved yet.

“In a sensitive geopolitical situation like Nepal, there is encroachment on Lipiadhura-Lipulekh and Kalapani in the south. The people of Susta have recently said that the Prime Minister’s statement that Nepal has also encroached on India’s land has caused problems for the people of Susta. ’

Rawal said that the Prime Minister’s statement that ‘Nepal has also encroached on India’s land’ has put the Nepalese living in the border areas in difficulty.
