Rs 21.40 lakh fine collected in a single day from traffic action

Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 2,157 drivers have been found violating traffic rules in Kathmandu Valley. According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, a fine of Rs 2,140,546 has been collected from the action.

According to the office, 82 people were taken for driving under the influence of alcohol, 101 for ride-sharing, 105 for breaching signal lights and 117 for speeding.

Similarly, 77 for flouting lane discipline, 61 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 22 for driving with glass glass, 54 for one-way traffic and 1,538 for not following other rules.
