Let’s build a Nepal based on equality and unity in diversity: Kulman Ghising

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Chairman of Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has extended best wishes to all the indigenous nationalities of the world including Nepal on the occasion of the International Day of the World’s indigenous nationalities.

Ghising said that as the United Nations is celebrating the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples this year with the slogan ‘Honouring Our Indigenous Obstetricians: Protecting Life and Health’, the importance of respecting and preserving the unique knowledge, traditions and way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation should be reminded even more.

“The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples is not only an occasion to celebrate, but also an important day to review the achievements made for the protection and promotion of our identity, language, culture, traditions and rights, and resolve to meet the remaining challenges,” he said.
