Ncell Foundation announces Rs 10 million relief assistance for Bhotekoshi floods

Kathmandu. Ncell has announced to contribute Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.

Ncell announced this support at a time when floods have caused a huge loss of life and property in the coastal areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Gorkha districts and the need of immediate rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the affected general public.

While expressing satire to the bereaved families and pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the disaster, Ncell wishes for early rescue and relief management for the people who are missing or affected.

Ncell has also been providing support to the affected communities through communication services. Ncell customers in flood-affected areas have been provided voice and data services and 100 SMS free of cost for 3 days.

Vishakha Laxmi Khadka, Director of Corporate Communication, Marketing and Sustainability of Ncell said, “It is our shared responsibility to stand with the affected people in this difficult time of disaster. We have decided to provide Rs. 1 crore to the government and the concerned agencies in their rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts. We have decided to provide Rs. 1 crore. We would like to inform that we are with the affected families and communities in this difficult time. ’
