Mid-western University officials and employees to contribute to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu. The officials and employees of Mid-Western University have decided to deposit the amount in the account of the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The decision was taken in a meeting on Monday. Arjun Bahadur Aydi said.

According to him, it has been decided to deposit the monthly salary of the office-bearers, teachers and employees of the universities and its subordinate bodies in the account of the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund in a way that will be deducted from the payment of monthly salary.

As per the agreement, the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar will deposit an amount equivalent to one month’s salary while the Dean, Executive Director, Examination Management Head will deposit 15 days’ salary of the month.

Similarly, teachers and staff will contribute their salary of 10 days, assistant professors, teaching assistants, instructors or their equivalent teachers will contribute their salary of 7 days, while the main assistant, assistant instructor, assistant or its employees will contribute their salary of 5 days.

Similarly, non-graded employees will collect 2 days’ salary.
