Consultancy owner arrested for duping 15 people of Rs 10 million on the pretext of sending them to Japan

Kathmandu. Police have arrested 1 person on the charge of cheating people on the pretext of sending them to Japan on the pretext of lucrative salary.

The arrested has been identified as Deep Bahadur Tamang, a resident of Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-3 in Ramechhap. According to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, he has been running a quack education consultancy in Mahalaxmi Municipality-5 of Lalitpur.

Deep Bahadur had gone missing after taking Rs 10.1 million from 15 people on the pretext of sending him to Japan. He was arrested from Lalitpur-5 and has been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment for further investigation and action.
