Gorkhapatra Corporation opens new recruitment after nine years

Kathmandu. The government-owned Gorkhapatra Sanstha has opened new recruitments after nine years. According to the annual schedule approved by the Public Service Commission, the corporation has published a notice inviting applications for various vacant posts.

The recruitment process opened at the initiative of the corporation chief and general manager Lal Bahadur Airee is expected to enliven the performance and administrative structure of the organization. According to Airee, the long-stalled regular recruitment and promotion process has also been opened with this.

The Corporation has opened new recruitments in administrative, technical and journalism services. As per the plan, a total of 280 candidates will be admitted, including 91 through open competitive examination and 189 through internal competitive examination.

Especially, for the first time, the organization and management survey report has been approved and according to the same report, the corporation has forwarded the process of recruitment and promotion.

Some of the posts in demand for open recruitment are as follows:

Deputy Executive Director – One in nine levels

Correspondent (Nepali) – Nine in 6 levels

Correspondent (English) – Seven in 6 levels

Photojournalist (Photography and Art) – two

Demand for new employees at various levels of administration

The application for the open competitive examination has to be submitted by February 23 and the application can be submitted by paying double fee till February 26.

The candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format by downloading the application form from the Sansthan’s website and printing it on F size paper and affixing 3 copies of the recently taken passport size photograph along with the details at Gorkhapatra Sansthan, Central Office, Dharmapath, Kathmandu.
