Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The first ever ‘Biswamedh Shree Vidya Lalita Mahatripurasundari Koti Archana Mahayagya’ Divya Mahotsav is going to be held from February 6 to February 16 at the premises of Nepal Veda Vidya Ashram in Pashupat area.

This historic ritual will be performed in the presence and direction of Shree Vidya Vidya’s supreme worshipper Shree Vidyadeshi Pravar Gurudev Mahesh Chaitanya Brahmachari Maharaj with the resolve of peace, prosperity and welfare of the people of Nepal.

In this special yagya to be held for the first time in the sacrificial history of Nepal, along with the worship of Koti Archana, the rituals of Mahaganapati, Surya, Narayan, Dakshinmurti, Matangi, Varahi and Kumari will also be conducted simultaneously. According to Gurudev Mahesh Chaitanya, this Mahayagya is not only a ritual but also a scientific process.

He said, “The renaissance of this art practiced by sages Vasishtha and Dattatreya in ancient times and which is on the verge of extinction in recent times will infuse positive energy in Nepal’s atmosphere.” This rigorous practice will inculcate honesty and service in the rulers to end corruption and malpractices prevalent in the country. ’

About 151 Dixit seekers will participate in this 11-day Mahayagya. Of these, 110 Brahmin students and scholars will meditate for 14-15 hours daily. There is a provision for seekers to partake of the same fruits by staying away from business transactions and host practices.

In the Mahayagya, activities such as Koti Archana, Saptashati Chandi Path, Shiva Worship and Subasini Puja will be performed by Lalita Sahasranama in Shree Yantra. According to Gurudev Mahesh Chaitanya, the worship of Lord Rama, Krishna and other gods is believed to contribute to the overall development of Nepal and rekindle the nation’s pride.

What is Srividya?

Sri Vidya is the worship of the Shakti Tattva that runs the universe. It is practiced by gods like Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Indra, Manu and Kubera. Lord Rama and Krishna also worshipped this knowledge. According to Gurudev Mahesh Chaitanya, this spiritual practice is extremely difficult (14-15 hours a day) and requires the practice of celibacy.

Gurudev Mahesh Chaitanya said, “Religion makes a person honest and teaches him to serve the unhappy. If this feeling is awakened among the people, the government itself will improve. The welfare of the country will be ensured by awakening through this rare program of Nepal’s spiritual practice. ’
