Kathmandu. JHAPA, March 4: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RJP) candidate Balen Shah has made public his manifesto for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 4.

Unveiling the manifesto, he said that he would stand in the forefront of the parliament against irregularities and corruption as a federal parliamentarian.

He also pledged to strongly raise the development issues of Jhapa-5 in the national policy and budget and effectively monitor the development plans at the federal, provincial and local levels in coordination with the ministries concerned.

He has pledged to continuously present the problems and voices of the local people in the parliament, to ensure full, transparent and timely implementation of the agreements reached between the Government of Nepal and Jenji, and to create an environment for the speedy, smooth and result-oriented implementation of the plans of the local and provincial governments from the federal level.

Balen has pledged to lead the implementation of the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s pledge to establish the Letter of Promise 2082-Standard.

He has pledged not to make any compromise against the interest of the nation by ensuring the effective implementation of necessary laws, budget and ensuring the effective implementation of basic necessities such as food, shelter, health, education, drinking water, employment, social security and clean environment guaranteed by the Constitution of Nepal.

He also pledged to address the local concerns by establishing a well-managed parliament secretariat in Jhapa-5, to ensure the right of children from poor and impoverished families to get quality education in practice, to implement skills programme like the one implemented in Kathmandu Metropolitan City and to reconstruct the historic Tribhuvan Library in Gauriganj as a digital study and research center.
