Election Report 2082 submitted to President Paudel

Kathmandu. The Election Commission of Nepal (EC) has submitted its report on the 2082 election to the House of Representatives held on March 4 to President Ram Chandra Poudel.

Acting Chief Commissioner of the Commission, Ram Prasad Bhandari, submitted the report to President Poudel amidst a programme at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas, on Thursday.

On the occasion, President Poudel expressed happiness over the successful conclusion of the election despite difficult and complicated circumstances. He also thanked the Election Commission and civil servants and all bodies concerned for making the elections successful.

“The EC has successfully fulfilled its responsibility by conducting the election to the House of Representatives on March 4 in a free, fair and fear-free environment, which has increased people’s confidence towards the Election Commission and the election system and further strengthened democracy,” President Poudel said.
