Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung visited KMC Hospital on Thursday night to enquire about the condition of the injured in the Genji agitation.
Former lawmaker Dr. Shyam Prasad Shrestha has been providing free treatment to the injured. Minister Gurung also thanked Sunil Sharma.
Minister Gurung, who has been at work since the day he took charge of the Home Ministry, had directly reached the hospital immediately after inspecting the Tribhuvan International Airport.
He inquired about the health condition of the injured and said that some of them are still unconscious and are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Dr. Sharma said arrangements have been made to provide free treatment to all the injured and he was taking stock of the condition of the patients.
He said that Dr. Sharma reached the hospital at around 10 pm and thanked him.
Most of the injured have been discharged while some are still undergoing treatment.
