NEPSE index decreases by 18 points

Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index decreased by 18.10 points to close at 2,807.12 points.

A total of 13,019,055 units of shares of 347 companies were traded 95,800 times today and Rs 5.77 billion worth was traded.

The sub-indices of hotel and tourism group increased by 1.16 percent while the sub-indices of all other groups decreased. Share prices of Suryakunda Hydro Electric Limited and Palpa Cement Industries Limited have hit the positive circuit.

Solu Hydropower Limited recorded the highest turnover of Rs 370 million 35 thousand 921 today. On the basis of the number of traded shares, the highest 777,373 units of shares were traded by the National Hydropower Company Limited.
