Kathmandu. At present, there is some influence of the westerly low pressure trough in the upper atmosphere of Nepal, the local wind and the easterly wind.

The weather is generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and in the mountainous and hilly areas of the Sudurpaschim region. The weather is partly cloudy in Madhes and mainly fair in the Tarai region of Sudurpaschim Province. Light to moderate rainfall is taking place at few places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

On Wednesday, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the hilly region of Madhesh, Bagmati province and Gandaki province. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province and at a few places of the mountainous and hilly regions of the country. Chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely at one or two places of Madhes province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of the country including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces in the night. Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province and at a few places of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province. Chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely at one or two places of Madhes province.
