Speaker directs removal of Rajendra Rai’s remarks from parliamentary record

Kathmandu. Speaker DP Aryal has ordered the removal of CPN-UML lawmaker Rajendra Rai’s remarks from the record of the parliament. Lawmaker Rai asked the Speaker whether he would listen to his ears or not.

Rai had said, “You can’t run the House for 5 years, I have seen the leg, you don’t have to listen to it

.”

The statement sparked a controversy in the House. After the 15-minute adjournment, the Speaker directed to remove all the statements made by MP Rai from the record
