Kathmandu. Three people have been arrested with brown sugar.
Police have arrested two persons in possession of 120 milligrams of brown sugar and Rs 16,000 in cash from New Road of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-15 in Dang on Sunday night.
The arrestees have been identified as Sudip Chaudhary, 28, of the same sub-metropolis-4 and Devika Shrestha, 20, of the same sub-metropolis-13. A police team deputed from Ward Police Office, Ghorahi arrested them with the substance.
Police also seized 770 milligrams of brown sugar, a digital scale and Rs 568,170 in cash from Mahendra Chaudhary, 40, of Dhodeni, Ward No. 18 of the same sub-metropolis-18.
Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
