Kathmandu. The operation of the Jayanagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha railway line has been temporarily halted.
Issuing a notice today, the company’s central office Janakpurdham Dhanusha said that the train service has been suspended until further notice due to the curfew order issued by the District Administration Office, Dhanusha.
The notice states that the decision was taken on the basis of the curfew order issued by the Chief District Officer.
The Nepal Railway Company (NRC) has stated that the existing service on the Jayanagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha railway section will not resume until the curfew is in effect.
A notice issued by Acting Administration Chief Ajay Kumar Singh said that the service would resume once the situation becomes normal.
