‘Balen spoke the sentiments of the country, I happily supported him’: Gokul Baskota

Kathmandu. CPN-UML leader Gokul Baskota has praised Prime Minister Balen Shah’s address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

In a Facebook post, Baskota said he found Balen’s speech “firm, meaningful and emphatic”.

He said that although he was not a supporter of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen spoke the sentiments of the country and supported him happily.

Baskota wrote, “Balen’s address to the United Nations seemed firm, meaningful and emphatic. But I am not the RSP, he spoke the sentiments of the country – I happily supported him. ’
