Tensions in Gulf region could lead to geopolitical crisis in future: Shankar Pokhrel

CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has said that Nepali workers working in the Gulf region are in fear due to the ongoing war in the Gulf region. “There are signs that the potential oil and gas shortages and rising prices will affect the overall market system, making life more difficult,” he said.

Writing on Facebook, Pokharel said that it is imperative for the Nepali society to maintain patience and restraint at such a sensitive time.
