Thunderstorm and hailstorm forecast in all seven provinces today

Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of westerly low pressure system and local winds in Nepal.

At present, the weather is generally cloudy in the mountainous region of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim province, Bagmati and Koshi provinces. Light rain will occur in some places of the hilly and mountainous region of the country.

The weather will be completely cloudy in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and generally cloudy in the rest of the country towards the afternoon. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at many places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at a few places of hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

There are chances of heavy rain and snowfall at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Thunderstorm is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and Tarai regions of Madhes, Lumbini, Gandaki, Koshi and Lumbini.

Tonight, it will be generally cloudy across the country. Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at many places of the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
