Gagan Thapa to take responsibility for education of children after Bibek Mandal’s self-immolation

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa has expressed deep sorrow over the self-immolation of 35-year-old Bibek Mandal of Gaudaita Municipality-10, Sisautiya. Mandal died at 2:40 am this morning while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Expressing grief through social media, Thapa said he was deeply saddened by the incident. Stating that he is with the family in this difficult time, Thapa has also made an important announcement for the future of the children of the deceased.

“I have already informed the family of the late Bibek Mandal of his continued support in their education,” Thapa wrote in the message. ’

Thapa took to social media to express his sympathies to the family in this painful time of irreparable loss.
