Refilled cylinders can be purchased across the country from Wednesday

Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has started selling 14.2 kg full LP gas cylinders across the country from July 14. According to the NOC, arrangements have been made to provide full cylinders as per the old system as soon as the gas supply has become easier.

According to a press release issued on Tuesday, consumers can now buy 14.2 kg full LP gas cylinder at Rs 2,060 per cylinder. Before this, the NOC had started selling cooking gas in half a cylinder (7.1 kg) since March 12 due to problems in the import of cooking gas from India.

According to the corporation, the old system has been implemented again as the import has become easy and the demand for cylinders has increased in the market. According to the corporation, both 7.1 kg half cylinder and 14.2 kg full cylinder will be available in the market for some time.

Therefore, consumers have been urged to buy gas only after checking the weight and price of the cylinder properly. Similarly, the NOC has urged the consumers not to buy more gas than required and store it at home, calling for cooperation from all sides for easy supply.
