‘Education is a service, not a crime’ (Photos)

The Educational Consultancy Entrepreneurs’ Joint Struggle Committee has launched an agitation since Friday protesting against the government’s new ‘Educational Counseling, Language Teaching and Preparation Classes (Operation and Management) Regulation-2083’. On the first day of the protest, businessmen staged a demonstration with placards at Putalisadak Chowk in Kathmandu. They chanted slogans such as ‘Education is a service, not a crime’, ‘Let’s save the educational consultancy business’ and ‘Let’s secure the future of students’.
