Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 1,3110 vehicles.

As of Monday morning, 23 drivers were taken for drunken driving, 65 for ride-sharing and 82 for using red beacons in course of checking conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of Kathmandu Valley till Monday morning.

Similarly, the traffic police took action against 162 drivers for speeding, 53 for not having horn, 16 for lane crossing, 44 for not being in good condition, 37 for one-way traffic and 821 for others.
