Kathmandu. Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Management, Dean’s Office offers bachelor’s, master’s degree and M.A. degrees. Phil. The government has issued a new code of conduct and directives to be followed compulsorily for the candidates participating in various semester examinations.
The university has implemented these strict rules with the aim of conducting the examination in a disciplined, dignified and fair environment. According to the notice issued by the Dean’s Office on Monday, the candidates will have to carry the official admit card with them on every day of the examination. After entering the examination hall, one has to sit in a certain seat designated by the Superintendent and is not allowed to leave his/her seat or building without the permission of the Superintendent or Invigilator.
In particular, no candidate is prohibited from leaving the examination hall within the first hour of the commencement of the examination.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, cheats, books or any other prohibited material have been completely banned inside the examination halls. If anyone is found to have cheated, helped others or given the exam in lieu of others, such candidates will be immediately brought to book.
It has also warned of severe punishment for those who obstruct the conduct of the examination or misbehave with the staff. TU has taken strict action after the question paper leaked in the TU examination recently.
The notice states that the university can cancel the examination of the candidates who violate the examination rules and code of conduct and will deprive them of participating in any examination for a certain period.
