Ministry urges Nepal Law Commission to furnish suggestions on amendment bill within 7 days

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has forwarded the process to amend the Nepal Law Commission Act, 2063 BS and sought suggestions and opinions from the general public on the draft of the bill.

Issuing a notice on Monday, the Ministry has asked the public to provide their opinion and suggestions within 7 days from the date of publication of the notice.

According to the Ministry, the notice has been published as per the sub-section (2) of Section 6 of the Legislation Act, 2081 to collect public opinion on the draft of the bill and the reasons and possible impact of its formulation.

The Ministry has launched a suggestion portal run by the Ministry to interested citizens, stakeholders and concerned parties. MyViub. No. They are requested to provide their opinions and suggestions through the law.
