Dialogue is underway among political parties on formation of Madhes government: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that intensive talks are underway among the political parties regarding the formation of a government in Madhes province.

Talking to media persons on Monday, coordinator Dahal said discussions were underway among the political parties keeping various options open.

“We, the political parties in favour of democratic republic, are in intensive discussions for the stability of the Madhes government. ’

Prachanda said his party has launched the national awareness campaign with the objective of strengthening cooperation, coordination and mutual relations among the supporters of democratic republic.

“This campaign is mainly focused on managing the internal organizational work of our party,” he said, adding, “From this campaign, we will move ahead by strengthening the relations among the supporters of democratic republic.” ’
